1. Alrighty.

    I’ll be leaving soon.

And I don’t get back till midnight and I have a presentation at 8 AM.

So I probably won’t have much time until 1, but then I may want to sleep since I won’t get to much this weekend.

    We’ll see.

But the next time I will really have much time on here is Tuesday at 1 in the afternoon.

Which is between 7 AM and 4 AM for people in the US, depending on where you are (I don’t know if I have any followers from anywhere else so I can’t tell you what time it’d be for you).

Also, I just realized that I just finally got done checking everything from those first few days like two days ago. Now I have almost 4 days that I’ll be missing.

I may wind up unfollowing some people (several of them I’ve forgotten why I decided to follow them in the first place).

    Oh well.

See you guys in a few days!! <3

    Rain

    Title: Rain

    Verse:

    Rating: PG-13

    Pairing: DickTim

A/N: I was planning on writing TBNR or Matilda before I left, but this happened. Oops? Then again, I might use it for Matilda, because I’m thinking of making that DickTim. We’ll see.

    .

He’d chased him across rooftops in the rain before. But this wasn’t in uniform- or across rooftops for that matter.

    This wasn’t for fun.

  4. Right before I do something big- generally going somewhere new- I don’t want to go.

It happened when I was coming to France- I wanted to switch which plane I was supposed to get on in Dallas and go to San Diego (where my family lives) instead.

Now I want to do anything but go on my trip this weekend.

I made a list of things to do in the next five hours, but am avoiding doing any of it.

    Like packing.

    And doing my project.

    .

Deep breaths and I’ll be fine.

I should probably head to class before I decide to lock myself in my room and never come out (which I’ll be doing most weekends after this).

  7. It’s okay. Take a few deep breaths. Sit down for a little bit. It will be okay. If it helps run through what you’re going to do in your mind a few times and as you do that focus on how it’s all going to go according to plan. That may help. *hugs*

I’m definitely going to have to do that tomorrow.

I missed my room check thing because I was buying the train tickets.

And I spent nearly 200 euros.

The boys? 11,60 because they bought Eurail passes.

But now I have about 200 euros left in my bank account.

    This is not good.

Oh! When I bought my tickets, I paid with all 180 euros I had because my debit card wouldn’t work.

And then we realized that we forgot a ticket.

So Ted had to buy it for me and I had to go to the ATM and paid him back.

But, I’m going to Brussels, The Hague, and Amsterdam this weekend.

With four boys I met 10 days ago.

And I hate red wine as well as white.

And I have to wake up really early tomorrow to do my laundry because the machines are full and I need clothes to wear this weekend.

And I have to prepare a presentation before I leave because I’m not getting back until almost midnight on Monday and it’s due at 8 AM on Tuesday.

    Kill me now.

I don’t know why, but I get insanely nervous about the most random things.

I’m going to go to buy train tickets to Amsterdam with some friends in a little while.

And I’m so worked up I can barely breathe.

    I don’t know why I’m worried.

    I just am.

    I can’t focus.

    My chest hurts.

I’m getting sick to my stomach.

    I want to run away.

    It’s awful.

  9. Alone

    Title: Alone

    Verse: Matilda

    Rating: PG

    Pairing: none.

A/N: Okay, so first off, thanks to storiesintheashes for helping me develop this idea. Secondly, this chapter is highly based off of the movie called Matilda. I mean, the whole premise of the verse is that Tim has the same vague backstory (neglect and abandonment) as Matilda and develops the same abilities she has. But this chapter contains several near direct quotes from the movie, only changed to adapt to Tim and the circumstances in their world.

I’m not really sure how long this’ll wind up being, but probably not terribly. And I don’t know if I should give Tim a love interest or not. I mean, during the bulk of the story he’s already Red Robin, so it’s not like he’s too young to have one, I’ve just been more focused on other things. But, as always when I don’t know a bit of information, if you have a preference, let me know :)

Oh, also, both Janet and Jack are incredibly neglectful, horrible parents.

    .

Everyone is born, but not everyone is born the same. Some will grow to be business men, or reporters, or scientists. Some will only be really good at stealing. One way or another, though, every human being is unique, for better or for worse.

Most parents believe their children are the most beautiful creatures ever to grace the planet. Others take a less emotional approach.

    So….

When I first came to the Batman fandom, I saw a picture that was the various Batkids and which house they would be in in Harry Potter.

And then today, I saw somebody else post what they thought.

    And it was completely different.

Bruce, Dick, Jason, and Babs were in the same houses in both castings.

But Cass and Steph were both different.

And Tim and Damian actually switched places.

I know that my opinions were kind of influenced by the first set that I saw.

But now I’m trying to actually stop and really think about it, knowing the characters a tiny bit better.

Anyone else have their opinions they want to share with me?

  14. Training Begins

    Title: Training Begins

    Verse: The Baby Named Robin

    Rating: PG-13

Pairing: DamiJayDickTim, with focuses in DamiJay, DamiTim, and DickTim

A/N: Ugh, I’m so sorry that I haven’t written in so long. I just suddenly wanted to write this. I wanted to post it before I went to bed, so it’s not very well proofread. I’m really sorry.

But, regardless, here it is. Um, new characters. Mav has been mentioned briefly before. He is their second son. Ziya is the adopted son of Roy and Wally. Luka is the adopted son of Kon and Bart. I already have how these three get brought into the universe (along with some of the other kids) but I just have to get around to writing it all.

    Nonetheless, without further ado:

    “Dad?”

  15. amaretto and lemonade? It’s not strong but pretty tasty. Not to harsh like most alcohol :)

Hmm, I haven’t tried that. I’ll see if I can find some at the store. Unfortunately, it’s a rather small store, so they don’t have much variety.

    Thanks :)
